Hey girlies!
Super tired so i wont write much but felt the need to make a set. i love the colors in this one. the pinks and the blue with black, which is one of my favorite colors. and no i'm definitely not goth or depressed just because i like black so much.
 
so for my final dance piece i started choreographing in a group with two friends. both are like the sweetest people ever but our choreography styles and taste in music is so different. we ended up picking an annoying pop song that they loved and i hated but i was willing to compromise (they now hate it). i feel like i have to fight to be heard regarding choreography and it's all kind of mess. we were supposed to be done by today but we only have about half that we've all agreed on. we haven't started talking about costumes or scenery but boy is that going to be a bumpy ride... i think next time i'll just work by myself despite the horrible feeling of vulnerability when i perform alone.
 
i hope you all have a lovely memorial day weekend and take the time to remember the fallen, veterans, and those who currently are serving overseas. our troops deserve our full appreciation for their service to our country, regardless of whether or not you agree with the war.

ps i think he's losing his affect on me, although i do find him somewhat intriguing. however, the effect harry styles has on me is only increasing. this is getting dangerous... AND BASTILLE. the more i listen to them.... they're wonderful. that's all i can say about them. check them out. for real though. there are some things so precious that i want the whole world to know about them but also not. at the same time... especially not the horrible people at my school who belong to the same fandoms as me. like no... just go away, you can't like them too because then that means we have something in common.... okay that was horrible of me but really... okay i really should just go to sleep now. nightie night xx

anywho... failed a math pop quiz, seniors are leaving which makes me sad :( and i can't seem to decide on a song to choreograph my final dance to for class. suggestions? it has to be instrumental which makes it hard because some songs i love but then when i hear them instrumental the sound is completely different. i was thinking some ellie goulding??
 
and oh my goodness... i just saw some pictures i can't help but mention... excuse my fangirling... harry styles. with baby lux. shirtless. ADORABLE. i literally melted. and squealed. in that order.
 
now, back to reality. the more i watch doctor who, the more i wish matt smith would whisk me away in the tardis. #nerdgirlproblems
 
hmmm... not sure i have anything else to say. thinking... thinking.... I WISH SUMMER WERE HERE. and math was over :(

awww.... :( and my puppy dog passed away on saturday. it was really hard, especially on my mom so keep her in your prayers. we might be getting a puppy soon though to take her mind off of it so that'd be good i guess. not to end on a depressing note but.... had to mention him :(

i know i haven't been on in awhile (aka about half a week or so, it feels like forever though). school's getting intense because of upcoming finals.
 
i quite like this set. it combines doctor who with God and just lovely pictures. how much better can it get? :)
 
still having parent problems. my mom's really mad at me because i bought something for my friend and she said she'd pay me back. it's been two days and she hasn't paid me back but i know this girl is good for the money. however, my mom has been freaking out about it. she's all, "you just don't what it's like not to have money." but i honestly don't think this girl is trying to cheat me or anything and for crying out loud its been TWO DAYS. not a month. not even a week. i even offered to pay my mom the money. maybe i'm reading it wrong but personally, i think she's overreacting.
 
the school literary magazine came out! it was really cool to see my name in print. hopefully it's a sign of more published work to come :)
 
finally, just real quick, my one friend is really struggling with body image and self-esteem. i mean i know everybody has things they don't like about themselves but this is different. i'm not quite sure what to say to her to get her to see how wonderful she really is. i've told her countless times how pretty she is and what a great friend she is but she tends to just brush it off, like she doesn't believe me. suggestions?

Yesterday I had a meltdown. I haven't been getting nearly enough sleep and have just been really stressed lately. I had my schedule set for next year but then my Chem teacher told me I should change my science and somet string inside of my just snapped. After school when I was explaining it to my mom I just broke down and couldn't stop crying. It was pretty bad. The whole scheduling thing freaks me out. I feel like the wrong decision could effect everything in the future. Once I finally got some proper sleep I was okay but everything's just been too much lately. I'm sure some of you know the feeling, especially with aps and finals going on or coming up.
 
And then today I was supposed to go to a friends birthday party but my dad was like, "we don't know them. We don't want you alone in the city blah blah blah" and so because of his obnoxious overprotective-ness I can't go. How am I ever going to date anybody of he won't let me out of the house with my friends. And we're talking sweet, moral girls. I mean I'm a good kid. My friends are good kids. We don't drink or do drugs or party wildly. I get straight as and I don't even curse. I'm friends with probably the most innocent group of people at my school. Heck, I go to bible study with the girl who was having the party. Bible study has been AT HER HOUSE. And yet my dad can't just trust that I have good judgement and that these people are wholesome good people. Ughhh he just makes me so mad sometimes. I gtg chicas. I'll put my taglist in the comments.

i haven't created a set in quite awhile. last week was incredibly crazy because i had to stay after school everyday to practice for my dance recital. it went really well and a lot of people particularly enjoyed one of the piece of choreography my class was in :) and i didn't mess up! i was sure i was going to.
by friday i was beat though. over that space of time i have discovered the wonders of nirvana. i started actually listening to some of their stuff and i surprisingly love it.
i also reconnected with some old friends, fought a whole lot with my brother, and found out that one of my best friends in the entire world is back home from college!
so for the most part it's been good although i have missed talking to you ladies and creating. i was itching to make a set but i just didn't have the time or energy.
ooh and i watched a whole boatload of dr. who yesterday :) i pretty much sat around being lazy and enjoying the doctor. i think i deserved that kind of day after last week. today i did do hw though, so i did something productive. but for some reason my little brother has been really moody lately and i realize i'm partially to blame but we can't stop fighting. i wish it would all just stop. i hate fighting. but i'm so done with the way he's been treating me and acting and how my mom always sympathizes with him. (there was my little venting session)
other than that, i can't say i can complain. we're having a cookout :) summer's close. i can almost taste it.
and did i mention how much i love the center picture of the girl with the flowers?
 
AND i just remembered! i finally got enough guts to tell this girl at my school how fabulous her style is. something i'd normally shy away from b/c i'm such an awkward unicorn. so i was proud of myself. because people deserve to know about their fabulosity.

I've recently been rereading tfios. (did the title make that obvious?) i can't ever seem to get through any other book once school starts. only that one.
 
i thought i'd try a more collage-y set. kinda different from my norm but not totally. i've had a mini obsession with all things skeletal recently... i think it has to do with bastille's video for their song flaws. its so fabulously hipster :) gotta love it <3
i've become unhealthily obsessed with bastille. now i desperately want to see them in concert. and i really want to go to one of those music festivals this summer. one of my friends is going and i'm jealous to say the least. i'll have to find one to go to and add it to my summer bucket list. (something i create every summer. basically a list of stuff i want to do before summer ends. stuff i never have the time to do during the school year.) so this year besides college visits the list so far is
1. design and create (like physically cut and sew) my own dress (ambitious i know but i need to get that idea out of my head.)
2. cook my way through a cookbook a la julie and julia
3. watch a bunch of classic movies (most of them having to do with audrey hepburn)
4. go to a music festival
can't think of any others yet but you can hold me to those. let's see how many i actually accomplish this summer. any other suggestions?

i passed my skating test today!! so on to the next one i guess :)
 
and i finished a veryyyy long essay on a country that i had created and its government so i feel oh so free now that i have no obligation to be doing homework. i do have a math test on monday though but i've been getting a's lately so fingers crossed.
 
i also have my dance recital this week. i'm super excited! :D
